Investigating Student's Case Of Dying

I was in the college lobby, like most of my friends, mugging up the entire book. All of a sudden the bell rang and the supervisor threatened us of closing the door if anyone stays outside the exam room, doing their last-minute revision. Giving a glance at each page, I rushed to my room, only to see it being closed. I shouted, "Please don't do it. Let me come in. I want to give my exam !". The only response I got was the Bang of the closed door on my face. And then I woke up. I saw myself on my bed. The sun threw its morning rays on me, making me realize it was just a nightmare I experienced.

Its been a year I have completed my college, but such nightmares still haunt me and wake me with a shock. The 'exam-panic' period before and during the dxams is known to every student. Those revisions, notes, sleepless night-shifts for studying, group studying, etc. who has not gone through it ?

I remember just to get those good grades, some would lock themselves in their rooms (obviously with their books), some forgot their regular diet but fed their brains with loads of formulas, theorems and answers. No movies, no hangout with friends, NOTHING, Only Studies !

But even doing all these efforts,  during vivas the externals simply say, " See you in the next sem for the same viva.", " You know nothing, you'll fail". A tight slap to all those sacrifices students made. On hearing this, they loose their concentration and those dreadful comments hovering in their mind help them get those 'honourable KTs' in the written exam.

Parents and experts say, " You should start studying much earlier and then you can become a scholar". But frankly speaking, I have seen scholars of many colleges struggling hard at the eleventh hour to learn entire topics they missed.

The state of a student during this panic time simply leads him/her to a state of mind where they literally feel of being dead in the end. Keeping the situtation in mind, and from some of my own experiences, I wrote this poem which, to some extent, depicts the entire investigation process of a student's dying case in exam time.

Investigating My Case Of Dying !!!

Days before Exams are like a Serious case,
They are nothing but full of Stress.
Difficult to investigate widout any Fingerprints & NO Clues,
For findin the correct between Lies & Trues.

Culprits are just ready Hindering Our Way to reach the Goal ...
Despite of our hard work which is more than a foal.
Killing 'em wud be judged as a Crime ...
But All WE can do is to Behave like a Gentle Wind Chime.

Time seems to be No friend bt a hard-core Foe ...
Running Far away and fast like an arrow shot from a bow !!
Hours become minutes, & each minute become a second ...
Feels like the next moment is like a Dead End !!

I'm waiting for some one to shoot the gun ...
So I can think over of starting to Run ...
Then I will have to put on some Pace ...
With some tension on my Face !!

With hard feelings I'll be just trying and trying ....
Till the end it would be ME Investigating My own case of Dying !!!

(First) Poem At First Sight - "Why So Beautiful Are You ?"

It is said, normally, 'Love at first sight '. It means, when you look someone at first glance you fall in love with that person. But in my case something different happened.

I don't know who she was, what was her name, where she came from, etc. The only thing mattered to me in the first look - She was Beautiful. Simple and elegant face, which made me write a poem. Yeah my very first poem.

I had this hobby of writing shayaris, but this was the first time, that just a look at her, maybe for a few seconds, made my mind script down lines after lines. I didn't get a chance to see her again, but thanks to her, I was able to push myself to attempt a different writing art.

Many of my friends asked me, "Are you in Love ?", "Who is your girlfriend as such lines are impossible to write just like that !". And I replied to them - "One does not need to fall in Love to write a poem". And the matter about this poem, not only the girl I saw, but also every women/girl is beautiful - in their heart. This poem, a very small attempt, is dedicated to all those Beautiful ladies who altogether make this world a better place to live in.

Why So Beautiful Are You ?

The day I entered college everyone was speaking,
In a class I noticed everyone was peeking,
I wondered what was so special that each boy was talking,
It was only of You they all were thinking.

But I paid no heed to any of those news,
Was not considering any of my friend's views,
Atlast one day I saw You sitting on a stair,
Beacause of your red top my eyes went glare.

I just kept looking, which No one dares,
My friends scolded me but I thought, "Forget, who cares ! ",
The image of You kept me distracted,
As if I had become a bit addicted.

I failed to study, I forgot to write the right,
As my world was shining more than usual bright,
Reminding You made me the upcoming Dark Knight,
Without any reason I kept waking all night.

All the reasons are Fair,
And my each word is True,
Just one question I ask,
"Why So Beautiful Are You ?"

Nolan's The Name.

You go to theatre, watch his movies and your mind fills with various questions. " Can this really happen?","The concept was never heard before !". Yes, that's what Christopher Nolan's movies do to your mind. He makes you think about it over and over.

Whether its his directorial debut Following(1998), or his out-of-the-box movies like Memento (2000), The Prestige(2006), Inception(2010) or the action packed comic-based Batman Trilogy, this British director/writer/producer is an all in one package. His style of story-telling differs from others and that's what interests his fans who want to enjoy films depicting logic with a touch of fantasy.

Born in London, mastered his film-making art from University College London (UCL), Nolan prefers to shoot , the old way, on film instead using digital. The director chooses to use more reality rather than the VFX technology.

The various themes, genres, the art of using specific cameras for needed scenes (the use of IMAX camera for landscape captures), the excellent editing skills, and his way of visual story-telling with great dialouges has made him a favourite among senior remarkable directors, critics and commended as a Master doing justice to film industry.

Collaborating with his lucky charms like spouse/co-owner of his Syncopy production house Emma Thomson, brother/writer Jonathan Nolan, cinematographer Wally Pfister, actors Michael Caine, Christain Bale, Cillian Murphy, Nolan has made a few but critically and publicly acclaimed masterpieces. His movies not only entertain but also show us different perspectives.

Nolan's ideas are borrowed by Indian filmmakers, say Aamir Khan's Ghajini was remake of Tollywood's Ghajini which was inturn a remake of Memento. Also the latest Dhoom 3 entirely adopted the somewhat similar storyline of twin magician bros played by Bale from Nolan's flick The Prestige. But I would like to ask him, did the idea of Inception come to his mind after listening to Amol Palekar's song "Sapne mein dekha ek sapna " from Golmaal?

Jokes apart, his movies send a message among his viewers dying to watch a good movie, " l am Chirstopher Nolan and will be making sensible movies which will take you to a fantasy journey in the real world. So just keep watching closely."
