Nolan's The Name.

You go to theatre, watch his movies and your mind fills with various questions. " Can this really happen?","The concept was never heard before !". Yes, that's what Christopher Nolan's movies do to your mind. He makes you think about it over and over.

Whether its his directorial debut Following(1998), or his out-of-the-box movies like Memento (2000), The Prestige(2006), Inception(2010) or the action packed comic-based Batman Trilogy, this British director/writer/producer is an all in one package. His style of story-telling differs from others and that's what interests his fans who want to enjoy films depicting logic with a touch of fantasy.

Born in London, mastered his film-making art from University College London (UCL), Nolan prefers to shoot , the old way, on film instead using digital. The director chooses to use more reality rather than the VFX technology.

The various themes, genres, the art of using specific cameras for needed scenes (the use of IMAX camera for landscape captures), the excellent editing skills, and his way of visual story-telling with great dialouges has made him a favourite among senior remarkable directors, critics and commended as a Master doing justice to film industry.

Collaborating with his lucky charms like spouse/co-owner of his Syncopy production house Emma Thomson, brother/writer Jonathan Nolan, cinematographer Wally Pfister, actors Michael Caine, Christain Bale, Cillian Murphy, Nolan has made a few but critically and publicly acclaimed masterpieces. His movies not only entertain but also show us different perspectives.

Nolan's ideas are borrowed by Indian filmmakers, say Aamir Khan's Ghajini was remake of Tollywood's Ghajini which was inturn a remake of Memento. Also the latest Dhoom 3 entirely adopted the somewhat similar storyline of twin magician bros played by Bale from Nolan's flick The Prestige. But I would like to ask him, did the idea of Inception come to his mind after listening to Amol Palekar's song "Sapne mein dekha ek sapna " from Golmaal?

Jokes apart, his movies send a message among his viewers dying to watch a good movie, " l am Chirstopher Nolan and will be making sensible movies which will take you to a fantasy journey in the real world. So just keep watching closely."
